Fibonacci Tarot Blog Enrty #2

Hello and welcome to anyone reading!

Today’s reading comes from someone in AZ; her question is: Will my doctor appointment go the way I think it will?

I’ve pulled 3 cards from the designated starting point, but have not assigned specific positions to them this time, in the hopes that we can use them in combination to provide an answer.  As a general rule, I don’t do medical questions, but since this isn’t a question seeking diagnosis, I decided it’s one we can comfortably ask the tarot.

We have the High Priestess, the 9 of swords, and the 4 of swords.  Interesting combination!

From an intuitive read perspective, what I FEEL from these cards is a sense of calm.   The candles, the blues and purples, the flowers.  I’m seeing figures looking in multiple directions, so not reading anything from that, but do see that all 3 figures are engaged in activity; this would suggest to me that the outcome of this appointment will require an action by the querant.  Although there’s a coffin on the 4 of swords, it is not symbolic of death (I’ll go into that later), so although someone unfamiliar with tarot might see that and get all freaked out, it’s actually a comforting sign in this question.  Specific to this question, seeing two swords could possibly be an indication that the outcome may be one that requires surgery to correct the issue, but I’m feeling as though the cards are saying there’s a good outcome in the longer term .

The High Priestess is a card of mystery & stillness; she reflects on the situation and trusts her inner instincts to guide her - it's also a sign that things around you may not be as they appear at this time, so may be suggesting that what will happen at this appointment is NOT going to be what you’re expecting to hear.  You should trust your medical professional, but don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you need to get to a place where you’re comfortable that you’re making the right decisions for you; the high priestess says you can use your intuition to guide your way, but there are possibilities that are not yet visible to you (and no matter what you’ve googled or read in the cards, you should always listen to a licensed medical professional & get a second opinion if needed!); let them come to light and THEN decide how you move forward.

The Nine of swords; nines are cards that represent a call to reflect on the consequences/results of our actions -  the nine of swords is all about worrying, anxiety, and despair; sleepless nights are often associated with it… which makes sense for a person facing a medical concern.  When we get the nine of swords, it’s a call that focusing on the negative is NOT helping us, and we must make a change for things to get better.   Whether it’s surgery, a lifestyle adjustment, or just taking better care of yourself, this card is actually good news with this question; it’s a signal that there will be an action you can take that will help move you to a better place, and hopefully you’ll be learning what that action is at your upcoming appointment.

The Four of swords; fours are about stability, and this one is about rest & recuperation (although the imagery on the card can seem scary, the coffin is symbolic of calm, still and quiet, of taking time to rest – this card is NOT a symbol of death).  Often when we see the four of swords the message we need to receive is that a new beginning may come from stepping back from some specific chaos that is impacting our life in an unhealthy way.  Specific to a medical question, this card would signal that now is a time to not allow the noise of everything else in life to take focus away from your health; rest, gather your energy and your strength, and continue do what is necessary to make your health and mental well-being a priority.

I hope this was of value to the querant – disagree with the read?  Comment below and let me know why! I’d love to hear from you.

Wishing you all a most blessed day!

Fibonacci Tarot Blog Enrty #1

Hello and welcome to anyone reading!

This is the first entry to the Fibonacci Tarot Blog!

Now that I’ve got the shop up and running on Etsy, thought I’d get this going as a companion piece, so people could check out what I do and get a feel for my style of reading!

So for today, to start off nice and easy, thought I’d pull a “Card of the Moment” and see what it has to say.

My question would be: What do I - or anyone reading this - need to know today, so that my day can be as successful and positive as it can possibly be?

And my card is…

The Five of Pentacles

The five of pentacles is a card that’s focused on isolation, insecurity, worry and rejection.   In a traditional tarot deck, we usually see downtrodden figures out in the cold, while nearby is a building full of warmth and light; in the Santa Muerte deck we see someone walking away from us, stepping on the skulls of others; literally walking over others to get to something.

We all have moments in our lives where we get caught up in the myopic, where our day-to-day struggles seem so overwhelmingly negative and frustrating that it’s easy to forget how blessed we are to live in the time and place that we do, in the lives that we have.   Sometimes we’re so focused on the negative that we simply can’t see that we are inches away from something or someone who can help us bring that light and warmth back into our lives.  And sometimes we’re so focused on a goal, a mission, a next step, that we’ve stop seeing who we might be walking on & what damage we might be causing on our way there.

So today’s message is don't get so caught up in your unhappiness that you fail to see help at hand.  Refuse to be the victim in any facet of your life;  change what you can, work on accepting what you can't, redirect to the positives …and if you need help, reach out.  You might just be surprised by what you find out there waiting for you!  And if you are so fortunate as to currently be in a place of happiness, health, and joy, then today is your day to look around you and see who you can help bring up to that place with you.

Wishing you all a most blessed day!
